Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Sports Science, Biomechanics, or related.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sports performance analysis with strong data analytics and statistical modeling.
• Proven experience with elite athletes or professional teams.
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (R, Python, SQL) and statistical software.
• Expertise in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of biomechanics, physiology, and training principles.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets on athlete performance, training, and competition from diverse sources.
• Develop predictive models and statistical analyses to identify KPIs and improvement areas.
• Create comprehensive performance reports and visualizations for coaches, athletes, and management.
• Collaborate with sports scientists, coaches, and developers to integrate data insights into training and strategy.
• Stay updated on trends in sports analytics and performance monitoring technologies.
• Design data collection protocols for specific athletic disciplines.
• Interpret data and present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Maintain data integrity and security in compliance with regulations.
