Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a Power Systems specialization.
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in power systems engineering.
• Proficiency with power system analysis software ETAP, PSS/E and PowerWorld.
• Strong knowledge of grid codes, protection relaying, and remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical power systems, including generation, transmission, distribution and protection schemes.
• Perform detailed power system studies, such as load flow, short circuit, stability and arc flash analysis.
• Select and specify power system equipment, components and protective devices.
• Ensure compliance with national and international power system standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other engineering disciplines in a virtual environment to achieve project goals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex power system issues, providing technical expertise and recommendations.
