Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a qualified and compassionate Early Years Practitioner to join their dedicated team, offering remote work flexibility and serving families in and around Upington. You will provide high-quality educational experiences and care for young children, supporting developmental milestones through engaging activities and a nurturing approach.

You will collaborate with families to ensure the best outcomes for each child and contribute to a strong foundation for future learning.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field (e.g., Diploma in ECE).
• Proven experience working with children in an early years setting.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and effective teaching strategies for young learners.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote capacity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging, play-based learning activities for young children in alignment with early years frameworks.
• Assess and track children's progress, maintaining detailed records and providing regular feedback to parents.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment, ensuring all children feel valued and supported.
• Communicate effectively and build strong partnerships with parents and guardians to support the child's learning at home.
