Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join a Pretoria-based educational institution. You will support foundational learning for children aged 0–5, delivering play-based activities in-center and coordinating with families online.

You will collaborate with colleagues to implement EYFS-aligned approaches, observe progress, and communicate development to parents through virtual sessions.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Experience with nursery or preschool setting.
• Solid understanding of EYFS framework.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient with digital platforms for communication and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver play-based learning for ages 0–5.
• Observe progress and document learning milestones.
• Create inclusive, stimulating classroom environment.
• Communicate with parents about development.
• Collaborate to develop the early years curriculum.
• Organize parent-teacher meetings and virtual sessions.
