Placements24 is seeking a highly creative Early Years Curriculum Developer to join its fully remote team in South Africa. You will shape educational content for an e-learning platform serving children from birth to six years old, with flexibility to work from anywhere in SA.

Responsibilities include designing curriculum frameworks, creating digital modules, videos, and printable resources; ensuring alignment with national standards; and collaborating with experts to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 6 years of curriculum development experience in early childhood education.
• Experience creating digital learning content and e-learning modules.
• Knowledge of early childhood development theories and standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop e-learning curriculum frameworks and lesson plans for 0-6 years.
• Create digital content: interactive modules, videos, games, printable resources.
• Ensure content aligns with national early learning standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and remote educators for accuracy.
• Research trends in early childhood education and e-learning.
• Develop assessments to measure learning outcomes online.
• Write instructional text and scripts for various media.
• Manage curriculum projects from ideation to implementation.
• Pilot and iterate curriculum materials based on feedback.
• Contribute to the platform's educational strategy.
