About the Role

Our client is looking for a creative and versatile Remote E-commerce Content Creator & Social Media Specialist to enhance their brand's online presence. This is a fully remote role, enabling you to work from anywhere within South Africa. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and distributing compelling content across social media channels to drive brand awareness, engagement, and ultimately, sales for our e-commerce platform. This position is perfect for a visually oriented storyteller who understands how to translate brand identity into engaging digital experiences that capture customer attention and foster loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, create, and edit visually appealing content (graphics, photos, short videos) for social media platforms and e-commerce site.
• Write engaging and persuasive copy for social media posts, product descriptions, and marketing materials.
• Develop and implement social media content calendars aligned with marketing campaigns and product launches.
• Monitor social media trends and audience engagement, adapting content strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate remotely with marketing and design teams to ensure brand consistency and effective campaign execution.
• Analyze content performance metrics to understand what resonates with the audience and optimize future content creation.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Content Creator , Social Media Specialist, or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing e-commerce work.
• Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and video editing software.
