Placements24 is seeking a Remote Food Service Director to lead the development and operational management of a distributed catering network. This role requires strategic vision, deep operations and supply chain expertise, and the ability to scale technology-enabled processes across multiple locations.

You will onboard culinary partners, set standards, drive customer satisfaction, manage budgets, and collaborate with product teams to optimize ordering and delivery.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in food service management, operations, or supply chain.
• Experience scaling operational processes for food delivery or catering.
• Knowledge of HACCP/ServSafe and quality assurance.
• Strong leadership and remote team management.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable operational models for on-demand catering services.
• Establish relationships with culinary partners and third-party logistics providers.
• Oversee onboarding, training, and performance management of partners.
• Define and enforce food safety, sanitation, and quality control standards.
• Optimize supply chain and inventory management for a distributed network.
• Utilize data analytics to monitor performance and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with tech/product teams to improve ordering and delivery experience.
• Manage budgets and financial performance for food service operations.
• Develop and implement customer service strategies to ensure client satisfaction.
