Job summary

Blacksmith Agency in South Africa is hiring Sales Development Representatives to open doors and drive pipeline nationwide. As a Demand Generation Representative, you will own the top of the funnel: researching, sourcing, and booking meetings with qualified decision-makers, while shaping the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients.

You will use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume goals with thoughtful outreach, ensuring each touchpoint

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role.
• Agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
