Job summary

Blue Pearl HQ is seeking an Intermediate Data Engineer with strong Power BI expertise to support its People & Analytics (HR) team. This role involves enterprise-scale HR data, building modern data solutions and delivering actionable insights that drive strategic workforce decisions.

The successful candidate will design and maintain data pipelines, transform data for reporting and analytics, and develop interactive Power BI dashboards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in data engineering or similar
• Strong experience with Databricks and Power BI
• Advanced SQL development skills
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines
• Understanding of data modelling and data warehousing principles
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks.
• Extract, transform, and load data from multiple enterprise data sources.
• Build and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for HR and People Analytics.
• Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across reporting environments.
• Collaborate with HR stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Document data processes, models, and technical solutions.
