About the Role

Our client is a global leader in the mining sector and is currently seeking a highly analytical and skilled Data Analyst to join their expanding team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive operational efficiency and strategic decision-making across various mining operations. You will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing complex datasets related to production, safety, equipment performance, and environmental metrics. This role requires a strong understanding of data analysis tools and techniques, coupled with an ability to communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and clean large datasets from diverse mining systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Data Analyst, preferably within the mining or heavy industry sector.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Advanced skills in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
• Experience with programming languages like Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
