The ideal candidate has 5+ years in cybersecurity, strong knowledge of TIPs and OSINT, and experience with Python/PowerShell for automation. Certifications such as CISSP/CEH/GIAC are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events from SIEM, IDS/IPS, and threat intel feeds.
• Analyze threat intelligence data to identify patterns, trends, and IOCs.
• Investigate security incidents, determine scope, impact, and root cause.
• Develop threat hunting methodologies to proactively identify threats.
• Create detailed threat reports and recommend mitigations.
• Maintain and enhance security monitoring tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, GIAC) are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on threat intelligence, incident response, or security operations (SOC).
• Proficiency in using security information and event management (SIEM) tools, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions.
• Solid understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and common attack vectors.
• Experience with threat intelligence platforms (TIPs) and open-source intelligence (OSINT) gathering techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information clearly.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively in a remote setting.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for security automation is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud security concepts (AWS, Azure, GCP) is advantageous.
