Placements24 is seeking a senior Remote Corporate Compliance Officer for a rapidly growing fintech company. You will develop, implement and manage the compliance program across regulatory regimes, with emphasis on AML/CFT and financial services rules.

You will conduct risk assessments, train staff, monitor regulatory changes, and coordinate audits while working independently in a fully remote setup from anywhere in South Africa.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate compliance, regulatory affairs, or risk management.

About the Role

Our client, a rapidly growing fintech company, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Remote Corporate Compliance Officer to join their international legal team. This role is entirely remote, offering the flexibility to work from any location within South Africa. The Corporate Compliance Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company's compliance program, ensuring adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies, with a strong emphasis on financial services regulations and anti-money laundering (AML) / combating the financing of terrorism (CFT) frameworks.
