Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Community Engagement Facilitator to support social care initiatives remotely, focusing on Kimberley residents and the Northern Cape. You will help identify needs, mobilize resources, and foster meaningful community dialogue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Community Development, Social Sciences, Public Administration, or related field.
• Experience in community engagement, outreach, or program coordination.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to engage diverse community members and stakeholders.
• Organize and facilitate community meetings, workshops, and information sessions, primarily virtually.
• Build and maintain relationships with local community leaders, groups, and organizations.
• Identify community needs and priorities through surveys, consultations, and feedback mechanisms.
• Communicate program information and updates effectively through various channels, including digital platforms.
• Assist in coordinating volunteer efforts and community-based projects.
