Placements24 is seeking a creative and strategic Remote Communications Officer to amplify our client’s mission and impact. This fully remote role develops and executes communication strategies across platforms, crafting messaging that resonates with diverse stakeholders.

You will write content for social media, press releases, newsletters, and website updates, manage CMS and email campaigns, and collaborate with a virtual team to drive outreach from anywhere.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrated communication strategies to promote the organization's mission and activities.
• Create engaging content for social media, website, newsletters, and press releases.
• Manage social media presence, track engagement, and respond to inquiries.
• Write and edit press releases and media advisories with journalists and outlets.
• Assist in developing annual reports, brochures and other materials.
• Monitor media coverage and analyse campaign effectiveness.
