The role suits a strong writer with 3–5 years of experience in communications or public relations, proficient with CMS and social media, and capable of working independently from home while delivering results for audiences

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in communications or public relations, preferably in non‑profit sector.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in social media management tools and CMS.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects remotely.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy across digital and traditional channels.
• Create engaging content including press releases, blog posts, social media updates, and website copy.
• Grow and manage the organization's social media presence on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Monitor media coverage and respond to inquiries from journalists and the public.
• Collaborate with program staff to communicate impact and outcomes effectively.
