Placements24 is expanding its commercial insurance division and seeks a Commercial Insurance Specialist to join their remote team. You will advise businesses on insurance solutions, manage client relationships, and ensure comprehensive coverage to protect assets and operations.

You will identify client needs, present tailored packages, and foster long-term partnerships while working independently from anywhere. The role emphasizes underwriting knowledge, negotiation, and proactive client service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial insurance sales, brokerage, or account management.
• Deep understanding of various commercial insurance lines and their applications.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet sales targets in a remote setting.
• Relevant insurance certifications (e.g., CAIB, CSP) are a strong asset.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Consult with business clients to understand their unique insurance needs and risk exposures across various industries.
• Develop and present customized commercial insurance proposals, including property, casualty, liability, and workers' compensation.
• Manage a portfolio of commercial accounts, ensuring policy renewals and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling relevant products.
• Liaise with insurance carriers to secure competitive quotes and negotiate policy terms on behalf of clients.
• Provide exceptional client service, addressing inquiries, processing endorsements, and assisting with claims when necessary.
• Stay informed about market developments, new insurance products, and regulatory changes affecting commercial insurance.
