Job summary

Placements24 partners with a forward-thinking technology and infrastructure firm to recruit a Remote Civil Project Manager in South Africa. You will oversee planning and execution of digital infrastructure projects, manage scope, budgets, schedules, and resources, and lead cross-functional teams in a remote-first environment.

The role requires a BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering or related field, 7+ years of PM experience on civil projects, and strong familiarity with Agile/Waterfall

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of project management experience, with civil/infrastructure focus.
• Proven remote collaboration and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end lifecycle of civil infrastructure projects focusing on digital deployment.
• Develop detailed project plans including scope, resources, and risk management.
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, IT and vendors to ensure execution.
• Monitor progress, address roadblocks, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage budgets and track expenses to meet financial objectives.
• Facilitate clear communication among stakeholders via updates and virtual meetings.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, safety standards, and policies.
• Prepare project documentation, reports and performance analyses.
