Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Remote Civil Project Manager to oversee critical infrastructure projects from anywhere in the world. This fully remote role requires exceptional self-discipline, communication, and the ability to manage complex civil projects without direct supervision.

You will drive projects from conception to completion, coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams while ensuring scope, budget, and timeline adherence in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Master's degree or PMP certification is advantageous.
• Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in project management in civil engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects remotely and lead virtual teams effectively.
• Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Primavera P6) and collaboration platforms (MS Teams, Slack, Zoom).

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of civil engineering projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, entirely remotely.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against these objectives.
• Coordinate and communicate with project teams, clients, consultants, and contractors using virtual collaboration tools.
• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Ensure all projects comply with relevant engineering standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Oversee procurement processes, contract administration, and change order management.
• Facilitate virtual project meetings and workshops to drive decision-making and alignment.
