This position is ideal for an expert who can contribute to the design, planning, and project management of major road infrastructure projects from anywhere in South Africa , with a focus on initiatives in the Limpopo province. You will leverage your expertise in geometric design, pavement engineering, and traffic management to deliver safe, efficient, and sustainable transportation solutions. This role requires a proactive, self-directed professional capable of collaborating effectively within a distributed team to drive high-quality project outcomes and enhance regional connectivity, working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design of road networks, including geometric layout, intersection design, and grading plans.
• Develop specifications for pavement design, materials, and construction methods for highways and local roads.
• Conduct traffic analyses and integrate traffic management strategies into road designs.
• Oversee the preparation of technical drawings, reports, and tender documents for road construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with national road design standards, safety regulations, and environmental considerations.
• Collaborate with remote project teams, government agencies, and construction partners to achieve project objectives.

Requirements
