Placements24 is seeking a highly capable Remote Civil Engineer to contribute to major infrastructure projects from a home office. You will design, plan and analyze civil structures, ensuring compliance with South African regulations while working independently and coordinating with virtual teams.

The role emphasizes remote collaboration, data-driven design decisions, and adherence to safety and environmental standards across diverse locations, including Queenstown and broader SA regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Civil Engineer.
• Proficiency in civil engineering design software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley MicroStation).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop plans for civil engineering projects such as roads, bridges, water systems, and drainage structures.
• Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies, using data and engineering principles to inform design decisions.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and reports using industry-standard software.
• Collaborate remotely with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure project objectives are met.
