Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed design calculations and drawings for infrastructure projects, including roads, earthworks, and stormwater management.
• Develop technical specifications, tender documents, and construction methodologies.
• Utilize advanced modeling and design software to optimize project designs for efficiency and sustainability.
• Conduct independent technical reviews and provide design support to site teams when required.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant national building codes, standards, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with remote project managers, clients, and other discipline engineers through digital platforms.

Requirements

• BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering, with ECSA registration as a Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) or Candidate Engineer (Pr CPM).
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in civil infrastructure design.
• Demonstrated expertise in 2D and 3D civil design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, PDS, Bentley products).
• Strong understanding of geotechnical principles, hydrological analysis, and structural considerations.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage design tasks with minimal supervision.
