Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to lead critical infrastructure design projects from a remote setting. You will develop solutions for water, wastewater, and transportation systems while complying with SA standards, enjoying autonomy and flexible work arrangements.

You will mentor junior engineers and coordinate with dispersed teams, clients, and regulators to ensure safe, compliant, and timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in civil engineering design with infrastructure focus.
• Proven experience with project management methodologies and leading teams.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterGEMS and related tools.
• Strong knowledge of SA building codes, regulations, and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of civil infrastructure projects (water, sewerage, roads).
• Perform complex engineering calculations for hydraulics, structural integrity, and traffic flow.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and tender documents using CAD tools.
• Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies with comprehensive reports.
