Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Chemical Process Engineer to support global capital and operational projects. You will perform process simulations, design reviews, and feasibility studies for international facilities, focusing on optimization and debottlenecking in remote settings.

You will develop P&IDs, troubleshoot complex process issues with global teams, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of chemical process engineering experience with a focus on project execution and optimization.
• Experience in petrochemical, refining, or specialty chemical plant design and operations.
• Proficiency with process simulation software such as Aspen Plus or ChemCAD, including dynamic simulation.
• Strong knowledge of P&ID development, equipment sizing, and process safety principles.
• Excellent remote collaboration and communication skills with international teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Proficiency with digital collaboration tools (MS Teams, Slack, Zoom) and project management software.
