Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Remote Blockchain Security Analyst to audit and secure blockchain ecosystems, including smart contracts and dApps. You will conduct security assessments, analyze code for vulnerabilities, and collaborate with teams to embed best practices across the SDLC.

The role requires 4+ years in cybersecurity with blockchain focus, expertise in Solidity and cryptography, and strong analytical skills for remote-work success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Minimum of 4 years in cybersecurity with a focus on blockchain security (2+ years).

Responsibilities

• Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments of smart contracts, dApps, and blockchain protocols.
• Perform static and dynamic analysis to identify security flaws and exploits.
• Develop security testing methodologies and tools for blockchain environments.
• Monitor networks for suspicious activities and potential threats.
• Investigate security incidents and perform forensic analysis to recommend remediation.
• Stay updated on emerging threats and best practices in blockchain security.
• Collaborate with development teams to embed security in the SDLC.
• Prepare detailed security reports and recommendations for clients and stakeholders.
• Contribute to security policies and procedures for blockchain assets.
