About the Role

Our client, a highly regarded cybersecurity firm specializing in blockchain technology, is seeking an expert Remote Blockchain Security Auditor to join their dedicated team. This is a fully remote, contract-based position, allowing you to leverage your specialized skills to safeguard clients' digital assets and smart contracts from anywhere in the world, while supporting our outreach to clients in Mahikeng, North West, ZA. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth security assessments of smart contracts, decentralized applications (dApps), and blockchain protocols. We are looking for a candidate with an exceptional understanding of blockchain vulnerabilities, security exploits, and auditing methodologies. The ideal auditor is meticulous, analytical, and possesses a keen ability to identify potential risks before they are exploited. Your findings and recommendations will be critical in ensuring the integrity and security of our clients' blockchain implementations. Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive security audits of smart contracts written in Solidity and other relevant languages.
• Analyze decentralized applications (dApps) for security vulnerabilities and potential exploits.
• Identify common and advanced smart contract vulnerabilities (e.g., reentrancy, integer overflow, access control issues).
• Conduct thorough code reviews, providing detailed reports with actionable recommendations.
• Assess the overall security posture of blockchain projects and protocols.
• Test smart contract logic against expected behavior and security best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest security threats, attack vectors, and mitigation techniques in the blockchain space.
• Communicate audit findings clearly and effectively to clients and internal teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Smart Contract Auditor or Blockchain Security Analyst.
• Deep understanding of blockchain technology, smart contract development, and security principles.
• Proficiency in Solidity and experience with security analysis tools.
• Demonstrated ability to identify complex vulnerabilities and provide clear remediation strategies.
• Familiarity with various blockchain platforms and their specific security considerations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality audit reports.
