You will analyze large biological datasets and build computational tools from a remote location, collaborating with scientists across geographies to drive discoveries in personalized medicine and drug development.

The role emphasizes developing pipelines, applying statistics and machine learning to genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic data, and contributing to publications.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. degree in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Biology, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or Perl.
• Experience with common bioinformatics tools and databases (BLAST, Ensembl, TCGA).
• Solid understanding of statistical methods and machine learning applied to biological data.
• Proficiency with cloud environments and version control (Git).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret high-throughput biological data including genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic datasets.
• Develop, implement, and maintain bioinformatics pipelines and tools.
• Collaborate with wet-lab scientists to design experiments and interpret results.
• Perform statistical analysis and data visualization to identify significant patterns.
• Contribute to scientific publications and presentations.
