Placements24 is seeking a talented Remote BIM Modeler to join our design and construction technology team. You will create and manage Building Information Models (BIM) across the project lifecycle from a fully remote environment.

Working with design teams and project managers worldwide, you will drive model accuracy, perform clash detection, and generate drawings and reports directly from BIM models. Proficiency in Revit and Navisworks is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in BIM modeling with a strong project portfolio.
• Solid understanding of BIM principles, BEP alignment, and ISO 19650.
• Strong ability to create and manage multi-disciplinary models remotely.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for AEC elements using industry-standard software.
• Ensure models comply with BEPs and industry standards.
• Collaborate remotely with design teams and project managers to integrate data.

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a talented Remote BIM Modeler to join their innovative design and construction technology team, supporting projects across various locations. This position is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. You will be responsible for creating and managing Building Information Models (BIM) throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to modeling standards. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP elements using industry-standard software (e.g., Revit).
• Ensure models comply with project BIM execution plans (BEPs) and relevant industry standards.
• Collaborate with design teams, engineers, and project managers remotely to integrate model data and resolve design issues.
• Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks or similar tools, facilitating early problem-solving.
• Generate drawings, schedules, and reports directly from the BIM models.
• Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and best practices, suggesting improvements to workflows.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a BIM Modeler or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing complex projects.
• Proficiency in Revit and other BIM software like Navisworks, AutoCAD, etc.
• Solid understanding of BIM principles, workflows, and standards (e.g., ISO 19650).
• Excellent technical skills in creating and managing multi-disciplinary models.
• Strong communication skills, particularly in a remote work setting, with the ability to collaborate effectively online.
• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet remote deadlines.
