Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote BIM Coordinator with 5+ years of experience to lead BIM standards and collaborate with distributed teams on large-scale projects. You will manage multidisciplinary BIM models, ensure clash detection, and maintain libraries from a remote setup.

You will provide guidance on BIM software, conduct QA checks, and stay current with BIM trends. The role emphasizes training, continuous improvement, and effective online collaboration across diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of BIM coordination and management experience.
• Expert proficiency in Revit and Navisworks is required.
• Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP systems modeling.
• Experience with clash detection and model aggregation software.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 BIM standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects remotely.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for online collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and workflows for projects.
• Coordinate and manage BIM models from various disciplines to ensure clash detection and model integrity.
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of complex BIM content libraries.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on BIM software and best practices.
• Conduct quality assurance checks on BIM models and related documentation.
• Facilitate BIM coordination meetings with internal teams and external consultants remotely.
• Manage the integration of BIM data with other project management and analysis tools.
• Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies, software updates, and industry trends.
• Develop training materials and deliver training sessions to project staff on BIM tools and procedures.
