Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who are hungry to open doors and drive pipeline. You will own the top of the funnel by researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, creating the first impression for potential clients.

As a Business Development Consultant, you will craft outreach sequences, identify decision makers, and maintain Salesforce and SalesLoft records to keep the pipeline healthy and ready for Account

Qualifications

• B2B sales experience preferred; quota-carrying is a plus.
• 2 years in SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication; able to personalize outreach.
• Familiar with outbound tools such as Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo.
• Experience with Salesforce and pipeline management.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
