This role is based remotely, allowing top talent from anywhere in South Africa to contribute to developing cutting-edge software for automotive applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying embedded software solutions that power critical vehicle functions, infotainment systems, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality embedded software for automotive ECUs using C/C++.

Requirements

• Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages.
• Strong experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) such as QNX, FreeRTOS, or similar.
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols like CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, and diagnostic protocols (UDS, DoIP).
• Experience with software development tools and methodologies, including version control (Git), build systems (CMake), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of hardware-software integration and debugging techniques on embedded platforms.
• Understanding of software safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262) is a plus.
