Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional Data Scientist experience with ML model deployment.
• Proficiency in Python or R and libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Pandas, NumPy).
• Experience with large datasets and distributed computing (Spark, Hadoop).
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, ML algorithms, and data mining.
• Familiarity with SQL and database management.
• Automotive industry or automotive data experience is desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Strong collaboration skills for remote teams and data visualization (Tableau, Matplotlib).

Responsibilities

• Collect, preprocess large automotive datasets from telemetry, sensors, diagnostics, and feedback.
• Develop and deploy ML models for predictive maintenance, driver behavior, anomaly detection, and performance optimization.
• Conduct EDA to identify trends and correlations in automotive data.
• Design experiments to test hypotheses and evaluate data-driven solutions.
• Visualize model results for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with software engineers to deploy models into production.
• Stay updated on data science and AI advances in the automotive sector.
• Communicate findings clearly through reports and presentations.
• Contribute to data infrastructure and best practices; mentor junior data scientists.
