Placements24 is recruiting a Remote Air Traffic Control Systems Specialist to support Richards Bay operations from a remote location. You will maintain and secure ATC software and hardware, ensuring reliability and safety while working autonomously from home.

The role demands seven-plus years in ATC or related systems, strong diagnostic skills, and deep knowledge of networking and cybersecurity for critical systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/EE/Aerospace or related field.
7+ years in ATC systems, radar or related comms/nav.
Strong remote troubleshooting and ability to work independently.
Knowledge of network infrastructure and cybersecurity for critical systems.

Responsibilities

Monitor the health and performance of ATC systems remotely (radar, comms, navigation).
Diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.
Apply software updates, patches, and system configurations under change control.
Collaborate with on-site teams and controllers for remote support.
Develop and maintain documentation for configurations and procedures.
Assist in evaluating and integrating new ATC technologies and upgrades.
