Placements24 is seeking an Associate Consultant to drive Business Development and Growth strategies. This remote role supports senior consultants and clients in identifying new market opportunities, developing growth plans, and strengthening client engagement across regions including Upington, Northern Cape.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field, 1–3 years in BD/analysis or consulting, strong analytics and communications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a business development, market analysis, strategy, or consulting-related role.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Interest in strategy, innovation, and business growth.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a virtual team environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities for clients.
• Assist in developing business strategies, expansion plans, and go-to-market approaches.
• Analyze market data and client performance metrics to provide actionable insights.
• Support senior consultants in client meetings, workshops, and project delivery.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and other client deliverables.
• Contribute to proposal development and business development efforts.
• Collaborate effectively with remote project teams and stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in business development and growth strategy.
