Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Architectural Technologist to join a fully remote team based anywhere in South Africa with excellent connectivity. You will develop technical drawings, construction documents, and 3D models using Revit and AutoCAD, collaborating with a national and international team to ensure compliance with building regulations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, strong Revit and AutoCAD skills, and the ability to work independently from a home office in a remote

Qualifications

• Requires a qualification in Architectural Technology or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Architectural Technologist with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in Revit is mandatory; strong AutoCAD skills required.
• Familiarity with South African building regulations and NBR.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently remotely.
• Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office setup for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed technical drawings and construction documents.
• Create 3D models using Revit and AutoCAD for various projects.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers in a virtual environment.
• Review plans, specs and building codes for compliance.
• Assist in tender documentation and site visit reports as needed.
• Maintain organised digital project files and document control remotely.
• Contribute to BIM standards and best practices within the remote team.
