Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Architectural Technologist to join a nationwide, fully remote team. Translate concepts into detailed technical drawings and specs while ensuring compliance with SA building codes and standards, collaborating online with architects, engineers, and contractors.

The ideal candidate has a relevant Architectural Technology qualification, 5+ years of experience, and expert Revit and AutoCAD skills.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or similar field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Architectural Technologist with a strong portfolio of technical documentation.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; BIM coordination experience is highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of South African building codes, materials, and construction techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed construction drawings, plans, and specifications using advanced CAD software.
• Ensure all architectural documentation complies with current building regulations, local bylaws, and national standards.
