Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Architectural Technologist to join our distributed team, focusing on projects across South Africa. You will produce high-quality construction drawings, specifications and documentation, ensuring designs are buildable and compliant with South African regulations.

This fully remote role requires proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, a minimum of five years of experience, and strong collaboration skills to coordinate with remote project managers, architects

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Architectural Technology required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Architectural Technologist with construction documentation focus.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; strong knowledge of South African building regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural construction drawings and technical specifications using BIM software.
• Conduct remote site assessments and provide technical guidance based on documentation.
• Coordinate with remote project managers, architects and engineers to ensure project alignment.
• Ensure all technical documentation complies with national building codes and industry standards.
• Assist in the tender process by preparing Bills of Quantities and other required documentation.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide remote solutions to construction teams.

Key Responsibilities
