Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Architectural Technology, Drafting, or a related field.
• Portfolio demonstrating drafting skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
• Knowledge of South African building codes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and detail drawings using CAD software.
• Develop and maintain 2D and 3D models based on architectural designs and specifications.
• Assist architects and designers in preparing design development and construction documentation.
• Ensure drawings comply with project standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare drawing sets for client presentations and permit applications.
• Update and revise drawings based on design changes and feedback.
• Maintain organized digital files and drawing databases.
• Collaborate effectively with remote team members through digital communication platforms.
• Perform quality control checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in the creation of presentation materials and visual aids.
• Support the team by managing drawing revisions and ensuring consistency across all project documentation.
