Placements24 is seeking a Junior Architectural Drafter to join a fully remote, entry-level team. You will assist in creating architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, and 3D models using CAD software, while learning from experienced architects.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Architectural Technology, Drafting, or related field.
• Basic understanding of architectural principles and construction methods.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is a strong advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
• Strong remote collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Portfolio showcasing drafting skills is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and updating drawings, floor plans, elevations, and sections using CAD software.
• Develop 2D and 3D models based on design concepts and sketches.
• Prepare technical documentation, layouts, and details per project specs.
• Maintain and organize drawing files and project documentation.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Research and apply standard drafting practices and symbols.
• Support revisions and updates to existing drawings.
• Ensure all work complies with company standards and project requirements.
• Communicate progress and queries with team members.
• Assist in preparing presentation materials as needed.
