Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a creative and technically adept Remote AR Experience Designer to conceptualize and build engaging augmented reality applications for multiple platforms. This fully remote role requires strong visual design sensibility and a solid understanding of AR technologies to translate complex ideas into intuitive user experiences.

You will collaborate with a distributed team of remote developers and 3D artists, prototype AR experiences, and stay current with industry trends.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in UX/UI design with a significant focus on augmented reality or interactive application design.
• A strong portfolio showcasing successful AR projects or interactive digital experiences.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch).
• Familiarity with AR development platforms and SDKs (ARKit, ARCore, Unity, Unreal Engine).
• Understanding of 3D asset integration and real-time rendering principles.
• Excellent conceptualization, visual design, and interaction design skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for remote teamwork.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
