Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a creative UI/UX Designer to join a fully remote studio serving a global client base. You will craft intuitive experiences for web and mobile applications, translating user needs and business requirements into appealing, usable interfaces.

You will work in a collaborative, agile, remote-first environment, conducting user research, creating wireframes and high-fidelity mockups in Figma or Sketch, and contributing to design systems while collaborating with product managers

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio and design process.
• Experience using industry-standard tools to create wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity mockups.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, create personas, and map user journeys to understand user needs and behaviors.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications using design tools like Figma or Sketch.
• Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that align with brand guidelines and enhance user experience.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project goals.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and project outcomes.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision).
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, interaction design, and usability best practices.
• Experience in conducting user research and usability testing.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, especially in a remote context.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and working within cross-functional teams.
