Placements24 is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to optimize and troubleshoot API manufacturing processes in a remote role. You will analyze existing methods, drive improvements in yield, efficiency, and safety, and implement scalable solutions.

Collaboration with manufacturing, R&D, and QA is essential to ensure robust processes that meet pharmaceutical standards. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in API process engineering, strong reaction engineering knowledge, and experience with cGMP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering for API manufacturing.
• Experience with cGMP manufacturing environments and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in process safety management and risk assessment techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and remote collaboration communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze API manufacturing processes to identify optimization opportunities in yield, efficiency, and cost.
• Develop, scale-up, and validate new or improved manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot process deviations and equipment issues with effective corrective actions.
• Ensure all processes comply with cGMP, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare process documentation including batch records, SOPs, and validation reports.
• Collaborate with R&D, QA, and Production to ensure robust processes.
• Use process simulation and modeling tools to predict and improve performance.
