Placements24 is seeking an Aircraft Systems Analyst for our client, a premier global aviation solutions provider. Based from Mossel Bay, Western Cape, this remote-first role involves analyzing and diagnosing complex aircraft systems through data analysis and telemetry.

You will develop diagnostic tools, collaborate with engineering teams, and deliver remote technical support to maintenance and flight operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
• 6+ years in aircraft systems analysis or maintenance.
• Strong data analysis and telemetry interpretation.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, or R.
• Experience with FDR/CVR analysis desirable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze real-time and historical aircraft system data to identify performance trends.
• Develop diagnostic tools and health monitoring algorithms.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues with engineering teams remotely.
• Provide remote technical support to maintenance crews and flight operations.
• Prepare reports on performance, maintenance recommendations, and risks.
• Stay updated on avionics technology and data analysis methods.
• Participate in virtual design reviews and working groups.
• Ensure data integrity and security per company policies and regulatory requirements.
