Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a data-driven Remote Aircraft Performance Analyst to join a growing team. You will analyze flight data to optimize aircraft performance, fuel efficiency, and operational effectiveness from a fully remote setting.

You will collaborate with flight operations and engineering, develop performance models, and deliver actionable insights to improve routes and procedures while maintaining high standards of reporting and independence in a remote work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft performance analysis or a similar data-intensive role in aviation.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (Python, R, SQL).
• Experience with flight data analysis software and techniques is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage workload in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze flight data recorders (FDR) and cockpit voice recorders (CVR) data to assess aircraft performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain performance models to monitor fuel burn, flight times, and operational efficiency.
• Identify trends and anomalies in flight operations data, providing actionable insights to optimize routes and procedures.
• Collaborate with the flight operations team to implement performance enhancement strategies and track their effectiveness.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on aircraft performance metrics for management and operational teams.
• Stay current with advancements in aircraft performance analysis tools and methodologies.
