Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Remote Aircraft Performance Analyst to join their innovative team. This fully remote role focuses on optimizing aircraft performance through data analysis to improve fuel efficiency, lower operating costs, and enhance flight safety.

You will work independently, using Python, R, Excel and SQL to interpret flight data, develop methodologies, and deliver actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Aerospace, Math, Stats).
• Proven data-analysis experience in aviation.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and aerodynamics.
• Proficient in Python, R, Excel and SQL.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking.
• Ability to work independently in a remote role.

Responsibilities

• Analyze flight data records and other metrics to identify trends and improvements.
• Develop methods to calculate and optimize performance parameters (fuel burn, path).
• Prepare reports and presentations detailing findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate remotely with airline ops and flight planning teams on enhancements.
• Stay updated on latest aircraft-performance tech and methods.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout analysis.
