Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Aviation Data Analyst to join their team. This role focuses on collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large aviation datasets to identify trends, improve operational efficiency, and enhance safety protocols in a fully remote capacity.

You'll work with Python, R, SQL, and visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI, delivering reports and dashboards to stakeholders while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Data Science, Statistics, Aviation Management, Economics) or similar.
• Minimum 4 years of data analysis experience, preferably in aviation.
• Proficiency with Python, R, SQL, and Excel.
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI is preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and organize large datasets related to flight operations, maintenance, safety incidents, and passenger traffic.
• Develop and implement statistical models and analytical techniques to uncover patterns and insights.
• Create comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Identify areas for operational improvement, cost reduction, and enhanced safety through data analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and management teams to translate data insights into practical strategies.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data analytics and aviation technology.
