Job summary

Puffy, a market-leading D2C brand, seeks a Head of Design to transform design operations into an AI-native, high-velocity function. You will own the design system, toolchain, and governance while leading a small team and partnering with CRO for rapid experimentation.

We value 7+ years in web design, leadership experience, and a proven track record with GenAI integration, WCAG 2.2, and scalable design patterns. Remote-first with optional Dubai office and relocation support.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in web design for e-commerce, including 4+ years leading, mentoring, and managing a design team.
• Experience implementing GenAI tools into a design pipeline with prompt engineering and governance.
• Expert in Figma (components, variables, Dev Mode); strong visual/motion craft and responsive design sense.
• Proven experience implementing GenAI tools into a professional design pipeline with prompt engineering, quality control and brand governance.
• Familiarity with AI-shaped UX patterns: conversational search, assistant UI, recommendation modules, measurement.
• Comfort collaborating on experiments (A/B vs multi-armed) with CRO; understands optimization speed vs causal certainty.
• Working knowledge of WCAG 2.2 and SEO fundamentals for structured content and schema on e-commerce sites.

Responsibilities

• Own the design function and toolchain supporting a fast AI-native operation.
• Lead a design team and partner with CRO for experiments and conversion roadmap.
• Develop and evolve the design system with WCAG 2.2 compliance and scalable tokens.
