Job summary

Placements24 seeks a highly experienced Remote Agronomist Consultant to provide expert advice to agricultural operations across diverse regions. This fully remote role leverages crop science, soil health, and sustainable farming practices to optimize yields and operational efficiency from your home office.

You will conduct remote assessments of farms, propose fertilizer, pest management, and crop- rotation strategies, develop customized agronomic plans, analyze soil/weather/crop data for trends,

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Agronomy, Crop Science, or closely related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in agronomy.
• Proficiency in using agricultural data analysis software and digital tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct remote assessments of farm operations, including soil conditions, crop health, and water management practices.
• Provide expert recommendations on fertilizer application, pest and disease management, and crop rotation strategies.
• Develop customized agronomic plans tailored to the specific needs and goals of each client.
• Analyze data from soil testing, weather patterns, and crop performance to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Advise clients on the adoption of new agricultural technologies and sustainable farming techniques.
• Prepare detailed reports and present findings and recommendations to clients via virtual meetings.
