Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Agronomy, Crop Science, Soil Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience as an agronomist.
• Proficiency in data analysis, statistical software, and remote sensing technologies for agriculture.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Experience with precision agriculture techniques and farm management software.

Responsibilities

• Analyze soil, weather, and crop data to provide data-driven recommendations for planting and cultivation.
• Develop and advise on integrated pest and disease management strategies tailored to specific crops and environments.
• Monitor crop health remotely using satellite imagery, drones, and sensor data where applicable.
• Provide expert guidance on fertilizer application, irrigation scheduling, and soil conservation techniques.
• Collaborate virtually with farm managers and agronomists to troubleshoot issues and improve crop yields.
• Stay abreast of the latest research, technologies, and best practices in agronomy and sustainable agriculture.
