Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Agricultural Economics, Economics, or related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in economic analysis, preferably in agriculture.
• Strong quantitative and statistical modeling skills, including econometrics.
• Proficiency in data analysis software (R, Stata, SAS) and advanced Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex economic information.

Responsibilities

• Analyze agricultural markets, including supply, demand, pricing, and trade dynamics for key commodities.
• Develop economic models and forecasts for agricultural production, consumption, and prices.
• Assess the impact of government policies, climate change, and global events on agricultural markets.
