Job summary

Placements24 seeks a meticulous Remote Accounts Payable Specialist to handle all AP activities from a home-based office. You will process invoices, schedule payments, reconcile statements, and maintain vendor relationships with a focus on accuracy and deadlines.

This fully remote position requires strong organization and proficiency with AP systems. The role supports month-end close and AP policy implementation, offering a flexible work arrangement and opportunities for training in advanced AP

Qualifications

• Must have attention to detail and strong organization.
• Experience with AP processes and vendor management is preferred.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks or Xero and Excel is required.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices with accurate coding and approvals.
• Prepare and schedule payments via EFT, cheques, or other methods.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain AP ledger and ensure proper recording of transactions.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and assist with month-end closing for AP.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining AP policies and procedures.
